Bloomsburg American Marketing Association

Being a member of the Bloomsburg American Marketing Association was AMAzing.

I joined BUAMA my freshman year. I knew I had to get some sort of business club on my resume but I had no idea how big of a role it would play in my college career. I remember being a freshman at the first meeting, they said free pizza and I was convinced. They talked about competitions, trips and events. I was sold. Fast forward to senior year, I've held a board position for two years, developed BUAMA's first website. Established a relationship with our student newspaper, published the clubs first news article, and coordinated articles since we first started. I've used marketing tools online to send professional marketing emails about club events. Lastly, I have learned to use some of the most used software in social media and web development to help bring the club to another level.
